The first takeaway I would like the viewer to glean from this presentation is that, the ruthless organized criminal activity and basic lack of concern for human life in all of these cases is clearly evident. The motivation behind this scourge seems, to a great degree, to be the wholesale wielding of misery, destruction, and death as much as it is a massive dragnet accumulation of wealth.

The second viewer takeaway which I hope to now share with you is, the following basic idea: I think that most of us simply assume that chemical-engineering-geniuses are formulating new synthetic painkillers from scratch in a lab, behind the scenes at these pharmaceutical companies, which surely isn’t the case. In all of the horrific cases we've studied thus far, these manufacturers were merely awarded a patent for the ‘packaging’ surrounding this poison, but that, the active ingredients inside these medicines virtually went chemically unchanged. In all cases, they were merely massive doses of the same opiate painkilling agents which had already been taking lives for decades if not centuries.
